U.S. Department of Labor Holds Advisory Committee on Compensation and Medical Benefits for Current and Former Nuclear Weapons Workers

Washington – The U.S. Department of Labor will hold a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Hazardous Substances and Worker Health for Part E of the Energy Workers Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act on May 17-18, 2023 in Idaho Falls.

This law provides compensation and medical benefits for current and former nuclear weapons workers diagnosed with medical conditions related to exposure to toxic substances at covered nuclear facilities. The Board advises the Director on certain technical aspects of the EEOICPA.

Board meetings are public and participants can attend in person or online.
