According to an online culinary publication, Harrisburg steakhouses are tops in Pennsylvania.
The 1700 Degrees Steakhouse at the Hilton Harrisburg Hotel in Harrisburg was recently named to Mashed’s “Best Steakhouses in Every State” list.
For the list, Mashed focused on neighborhood establishments rather than chains and selected the top participants based on factors such as reviews, accolades and recommendations from a variety of sources.
1700 Degrees Steakhouse opened at the Hilton in 2014, replacing the hotel’s longstanding Golden Thief restaurant. Specializing in Midwest Prime Beef, Dry Aged Beef, Certified Angus Beef and Sustainable Seafood.
“1700 Degrees Steakhouse in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is as hot a name as it sounds,” says Mashed. “After their grand reopening in 2014, their reviews have improved and they are now arguably the best steakhouse in Pennsylvania. You can always find the menu.”
1700 Degrees has won other awards, including recognition from Wine Spectator and a 2015 OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award.
