A health care company backed by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development has gone bankrupt, and a former landlord is suing for nonpayment of rent.
Apricity Resources was founded in 2016 and employs up to 200 people under parent company Health Care Navigator. TNECD spokesperson Jennifer McEachern said, “We are aware that Apricity is no longer in operation and our team is in the process of closing company files to determine next steps. “If it is determined that Apricity has not fulfilled the terms of the contract, we will follow the terms of the company accountability agreement.”

Horwitz worked at Health Care Navigator since 2010 before moving to Apricity, where he has been president since 2016. Horwitz couldn’t be reached for comment, but his LinkedIn account shows that his role on Apricity ended in his April 2022. There was no response when calling and emailing Health Care Navigator.
