Russell Wilson injury update: Broncos QB underwent knee surgery. Expect 100% for OTA – Mile High Report

According to his tweet Ian Rapoport, Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee after the 2022 regular season. Apparently, this is to fix a problem that has plagued Wilson for several seasons.

This report appears to have come well after the actual surgery, as Wilson has already resumed his workouts and is pitching.

Wilson played a little off-season last season. He missed the game with a hamstring injury and played with shoulder pain. He also underwent a concussion protocol in December. But this is the first time we’ve heard of a long-term problem with his right knee. Russell Wilson is likely going into the most important season of his career, so this scope will solve it. I hope

Denver needs better quarterback play in 2023, so getting a healthy Russell Wilson is key.
