Imaging equipment provider Probo Medical has completed its acquisition of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) coil repair business from US-based Creative Foam.
The acquired surgery allows Probo Medical to offer a range of complex MRI coil repairs in-house. It also complements the company’s repair capabilities in other imaging modalities.

Probo Medical plans to move all MRI coil repair operations to its headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
The Creative Foam name will remain unchanged and the company will continue to operate from its Bremen, Indiana facility to provide solutions to the transportation and healthcare sectors.
Additionally, Probo has established a long-term partnership with Creative Foam. Under the partnership, Creative Foam offers refoaming of his MRI coils.
