Over $1.7 million was raised at Vida OLE!, the OLE Health Foundation’s annual celebration, held May 18-21 in Napa Valley. As Napa County’s only federally accredited health center, OLE Health provides quality primary care to more than 40,000 patients annually, regardless of ability to pay, insurance, or immigration status.
“OLE Health has great traditions in the Napa Valley and is committed to ensuring quality healthcare is available to everyone who lives and works here. The celebration kicked off with a Visionary Luncheon held at Jean-Charles Boisset and Gina Gallo’s Wappo Hill mansion to present Jones Family Vineyards owner Rick Jones to the inaugural John Schaefer Visionary. On Friday, weekend guests enjoyed an intimate Vintner dinner at Darious and Louis Martini Winery, reflecting the unique personalities of the wines and the people behind them. Each course was expertly paired with a special selection from the winery. Dariosh’s guests were invited to preview her Graf collection, where they had the opportunity to purchase her fine diamond jewelry.
The evening was cool, but bidding was heating up at Saturday’s dinner and auction hosted by Kaiser Permanente amidst the picturesque vineyards and gardens of the Sullivan Rutherford estate. Wine Country brewers, producers, community officials and supporters of OLE Health while you dine on delicious multi-course meals prepared by Meadowwood’s culinary team, beautifully complemented by Sullivan’s superb wines and library vintages of Loco Tequila. Together they showed up and raised over $1.70. It won $1 million through a lively auction conducted by renowned auctioneer Fritz Hutton.
The night’s top $100,000 auction is a loco tequila experience, Mexico City’s finest art and gastronomy offering, and El Arenal-based Tequila Estate, built over a decade of work. An intimate glimpse into the vision behind Rescue 200 years of fine tequila legacy. $80,000 each brought in three-day experiences in Montana, “Rip Wheeler’s Bourbon” and “Bonfire,” hosted by hit TV show “Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser; ‘Serving Up Aces’ includes four tickets to the US Open tennis semi-finals. Includes tournaments, a Darioush wine dinner at Caviar Russe, tickets to Tony Award-nominated Broadway shows and luxury accommodations at Exclusive Resorts Park Avenue Place. After an emotional appeal by her Allison Crisp, one of her medical directors at OLE Health, attendees generously paddled up to raise her $720,000 for Fund a Need. This fund will fund a significant renovation of OLE Health’s busiest health center, the Napa Valley Vintners North Napa campus. For the final gavel, the energetic Ozomatri took the stage to an infectious mix of Latin, hip-hop, R&B and rock music that kept the crowd dancing the night away.
The weekend ended with a farewell brunch at Sinegal Estate Winery. Guests said goodbye to the weekend, attending a friendly match in Boule and experiencing a Parisian taste of Napahis Valley while enjoying the sounds of French duo Louhis Manouche. Award-winning wine from Cinegal.
All proceeds collected by Vida OLE support OLE Health’s operations and mobile health programs at five health centers in Napa County. Dates for Vida OLE 2024 will be announced soon.
