New DC Food Hall Opens with Tacos, Poke and Breakfast Sandwiches

The Bryant Street Market Food Hall will open in Edgewood on Friday, March 17, serving tacos, poke, breakfast sandwiches and more. Multistall Marketplace (previously called The Bevy) is part of MRP Realty’s new mixed-use development in the Northeast DC neighborhood that already houses several nightlife/entertainment venues (Alamo Drafthouse, Immersive A vintage Van Gogh exhibit and a Metro-themed bar) will be added.

Vendors are:

  • Alegria Bar – The food hall’s anchor bar comes from the team behind nearby Taqueria Habanero. Seats 26 and serves bread latin drinks, organic wines and martini happy hour.
  • bold gyoza (coming soon) – Annandale-based dumpling outfit (also on the block) is known for its bao buns, pork soup dumplings, and kimchi potsickers.
  • pufferfish poke – This Hawaiian spot (also part of Baltimore’s Cross Street Market) specializes in poke bowls, plate lunches like furikake fried chicken, and mochi donuts.
  • Smith Meadows grass-fed griddle – A purveyor of the ever-popular egg sandwich that pops up for breakfast at local farmers markets and breweries. provide a light meal.
  • taqueria habanero – Puebla-style tacos on homemade tortillas are the draw at this third location of the popular Mexican spot (also in Columbia Heights and College Park). Look for new menu items such as breakfast burritos.
  • tiger sugar – This Taiwanese boba tea chain specializes in a variety of teas, homemade syrups and flavored tapioca pearls.

In addition to the food stalls, a large event space will be opening soon to host local pop-ups. Also coming soon: Kraken Kourts, a massive entertainment complex near Hook Hall and the team behind Kraken Axes. The 70,000-square-foot destination features 16 pickleball courts, a tavern, and DC’s only indoor roller rink.
