Michigan State University is hosting a two-day executive education program June 13-15, 2023 to discuss how to create a food safety culture within the workplace.
The program “Creating a Food Safety Culture Executive Education” takes place on campus and brings food safety professionals together for meaningful conversations about behavior change and its impact on organizations. Food safety expert and former MSU Deputy Commissioner for Food Policy Response, Frank Ianas, will lead the program.
Attendees will gain vital insight into the ever-changing food safety environment and valuable networking connections with industry and regulators around the world.
According to the event’s organizer, the MSU Online Food Safety Program, “The positions of the individuals who participated in the program included Vice President of Global QA Operations, Director of FSQA, Manager of Food Safety Quality Assurance, Vice President of Quality Assurance and Food Safety, Food Safety Compliance Specialist, Corporate Food Safety Group Leader, and Food Safety Coordinator, to name a few.Some of the participating officers have a master’s degree in food safety from Michigan State University (MSU). Some students are trying to get their number.”
The program will feature a guest speaker from Bill Marler, JD, Managing Partner, Marler Clark LLP PS.
