Dr. Chopra shares his insights on the future of happiness

“Sometimes I wake up and find myself dreaming,” Dr. Chopra said. “My friends, I invite you to awaken to your own basic reality as a timeless soul on a cosmic journey we call ‘time’. ”
Dr. Chopra also talks about the importance of embracing the “7 Pillars of Happiness,” which includes good sleep habits, whole foods, and plant-based nutrition, incorporating exercise and yoga into daily life, and increasing self-awareness and awareness. Incorporating these elements can help you develop clearer vision and promote healing of your mind, body, and soul.
This visit was made possible by the Learning Society at Queen’s University. The Learning Society welcomes key thinkers and doers to campus to share their knowledge and life experiences with students and the entire Charlotte and Her community.
“Dr. Chopra’s visit was a deep dive into modern science, ancient wisdom and the future of well-being,” said Dan Lugo, president of Queen’s University in Charlotte. “We all share similar desires for personal growth, inner peace, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.”
Dr. Chopra also participated in intimate student-led discussions and shared personal anecdotes, including his life-changing encounter with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1985. He provided an intriguing glimpse into the future of artificial intelligence (AI) and medicine, and offered tips on how students can change their perception of situations and nurture their well-being.
“It was an amazing experience to be able to speak to someone as amazing as Deepak Chopra,” said panelist Eleanor Williamson ’24. “This is an opportunity that not many people get to experience, and I was honored to be a part of it all.”
