Family Medicine Provider Joins Dannabant Valley Wellness Clinic

Shelby County – The Dannabunt Valley will be welcoming a new family physician in the coming months.
“Dr. Russell Marsh, a home health care provider, will begin accepting patients this summer,” a press release from the Dunnabunt Valley Wellness Clinic reads. “He will practice alongside his wife, Dr. Jessica Dietrich Marsh, within an extension of the Health Inc. Wellness Clinic.”
According to the release, his care will become a relationship-based medical model that replaces the complexities of insurance, finance and waiting rooms.
“I am trained as a primary care provider and would love to meet the whole family,” Russell said. “My dream is to take care of my children, my parents, my grandparents, my great-grandparents. Medicine is a powerful tool, but one tool from a workshop on how you can use it to achieve peak health.” Changing habits is one way.I am passionate about educating my patients about lifestyle changes.You have the power to make a big difference.”
Russell has been in postgraduate training for the past three years.
“During those three years, we train under the supervision of our primary care physician,” Russell said. “This is an opportunity to develop my own practice. I’m looking forward to it.”
Russell said from the initial evaluation, people in the community seem excited about this new transition.
“I appreciate the enthusiasm and the opportunity to serve,” Russell said. “I was a nontraditional medical student in that I had a career in information technology before pursuing medicine. So I am passionate about technology. And if you come see me, I’d love to hear about your passion.”
