Four New York City Health + Hospitals, Leaders of MetroPlusHealth Named Crain’s 2023 Healthcare Leaders to Watch

NYC Health + Hospitals today named four of its 84 leaders to Crane’s 2023 Healthcare Leaders to Watch list for their outstanding contributions to the care of vulnerable New Yorkers announced that it was inside To be eligible, candidates had to have worked in a healthcare-related institution in the New York metropolitan area and have at least 10 years of experience. In addition to her leading role in midwifery services at Brooklyn’s first baby-friendly USA hospital, Ms. Grant is co-chair of the health system’s Midwifery Council. She has over 25 years of experience caring for and empowering pregnant people and their families. Ms. Grant has leveraged her expertise as current president of the New York State Board of Certified Midwives, co-chaired the Brooklyn District President’s Special Committee on Maternal and Child Health, and serves on the Maternal Mortality and Maternal and Child Health Task Force for the New York State Department of Health. Nicole Jordan-Martin leads the health system’s Community Care Division, serving patients in their homes and communities. These services include home care, behavioral health, maternal and child health, food insecurity, homelessness, and coordination of social support for those addressing other immediate needs. Jordan-Martin holds a certification in healthcare administration. She works internationally on behalf of the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and advises the World Health Organization on the prevention of mother-to-child transmission in sub-Saharan Africa.
