Catherine Blocker, Director of Development and Operations for Midtown Center, said: “We have five food trucks at the event.”

The Midtown Center will continue to host food trucks every Tuesday, giving the community a place to gather and enjoy what was once a rarity in the city.
Planning for the series began last spring when a local food truck asked if we could partner for a sales opportunity.
Midtown Center Director Nic Keyzer said: “Everybody worked together to make this event what it is.”
The Dutch City Council amended the Unified Development Ordinance in November to allow more opportunities for food trucks to operate downtown. The change expands restrictions in commercial areas, but maintains restrictions near residential areas.
