Food Bank, Munro Dairies and PVD Food Truck Host Food Truck Event


The food truck raises funds for Providence’s Rhode Island Community Food Bank and brings more fun to Munro Dairies’ Sacred Cow in East Providence. That’s not all.

On Thursday, June 1, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank will host its annual “Truck Stop: Street Eats” from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Food Bank headquarters at 200 Niantic Avenue in Providence. Hold a fundraising event for the festival. Guests will enjoy an evening of tasting more than 20 Gourmet His Food His Trucks while supporting programs that feed the hungry in Rhode Island. The food bank hopes to raise $200,000 from the event.

Your $85 ticket includes unlimited tastings, one free drink, and live music by the Super Chief Trio. Tracks include Friskie Fries, Ming’s Asian Street Food, Blount Seafood, Burgundian Waffles, Gnarly Vines, Little B’s BBQ and more. Beer, wine and specialty cocktails are also available for purchase. Tickets are available for purchase at the event on ricedbank.org.

Sunday will be the first of three food truck events at Munro Dairies' Sacred Cow ice cream store in East Providence.

Sacred Cow’s Sunday Food Truck Funday on Sunday, May 28 from 4:30pm-8:00pm at Munro Dairy’s Sacred Cow Ice Cream at 187 Blow Street in East Providence.・It will be held at the Shop and Market. Participation is free, just pay for what you eat and drink at the various food trucks. Trinity Brewhouse serves local beer and wine. There will also be live music by Steel Tide Calypso. Participating food trucks include the Blount Clam Shack Food Truck, Championship Melt, Friskie Fries, BBQ y Mas and more. Additional food truck dates include July 9th and August 6th.
