Doja Cat announced that she had undergone breast reduction surgery and liposuction.
The “Say So” singer — whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini — posted a tweet on Monday (March 20), admitting that she recently underwent cosmetic surgery.
The 27-year-old tweeted that she “tightened her tie” and later replied to fans. I had a lipo, so my thighs hurt a lot when I moved too much. But I am healing really fast.
At the time, Doja said he was on his fourth day of recovery and would take “probably three months in total” to heal.
She told another follower in a separate tweet that her breasts were reduced to a “small” 32C cup size when asked if she had undergone enlargement surgery.
In a new tweet published on Wednesday (March 22nd), the musician appeared pleased with the results, explaining, “How amazing they are.”
Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure used to remove unwanted body fat and change the shape of the body. It involves removing small areas of fat that are “hard to lose with exercise and a healthy diet,” according to the NHS website.
Apply to areas where fat tends to accumulate, such as the buttocks, hips, thighs, and abdomen.
In the UK, liposuction costs between £2,000 and £6,000 depending on where the surgery is performed and the body area treated.
Doja has been defensive towards criticism of her appearance in the past, often expressing herself without apology.
In August, the “Women” singer responded to critics who mocked her shaved head and eyebrows on Instagram Live.
At the time, she shared her joy with her new look, telling fans, “I’ve never felt so happy.”
In a tweet, the rapper acknowledged her accomplishments as an artist before claiming that those who criticized her hairstyle were only interested in her being sexually attractive.
“I won a Grammy, traveled the world, hit number one, went platinum. I hope you can see… fuck yourself,’ says the singer I have written at the time.
