Customers say they were mocked by restaurants for ‘too much food’

Cassandra Mauro (@cassssmauro) plans to order and share three appetizers and two sushi rolls with friends in a video that has more than 628,000 views as of Saturday. However, the woman who was taking the order said she stopped before she could order. Her second roll told her she had too much food.

“So she said, ‘Okay, I’m going to have this roll too,'” she says of her friend. “And the woman looked at her and wrote it out loud (huff) and we’re so confused because we came to your restaurant for a meal, what are you doing Is it?”

Mauro said she and a friend witnessed the restaurant manager visiting, commenting on the amount of food ordered, having tables moved and kitchen staff mocking them.

“The manager walked up and looked me and Catherine up and down and said, ‘Are you hungry?'” she says. ‘Are you hungry? ‘ Literally. And she said, ‘Yeah, you ordered too much food. It doesn’t fit in this table. Get up and move over to this table. ”

She said she was then asked if she really wanted the rice that came with her order.

“What do you mean?” says Mauro. “Now you are taking away the food we are actually paying for. “Do you still need it?”

Since the video was shared, the company has been inundated with negative reviews from Google, some of which have happened to us, but the video gave us the courage to share it publicly. There was also a note saying that

Multiple commenters said they would have left as soon as they were asked to move tables.

One commenter wrote, “If the manager had yelled at us to move tables and ridiculed our order, we would have walked away immediately.” “For example, do they want people to eat at their restaurant??”

“I would have gotten up to change seats and left,” said another viewer.

“Why did you stay?” asked another. “If someone tells me to ‘get up and move,’ I’ll get up and walk out the door and call the company right away.”
