WACO, TX (FOX 44) – Today is the final day of the general election. Central Texas polls are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Polling places in McLennan County include Hewitt City Hall and the Waco Multipurpose Community Center.
The joint general election will include dozens of elections for voters to consider, from city council members to school board directors.
East Waco resident and local pastor Slim Thompson said of the election: And I’m sure Dr. Henry has a lot of great ideas, a lot of influence, a lot of confidence, and he cares about our community.
Another big topic at Harker Heights is the Voting for Round 2 of the Marijuana Proposal, which will decriminalize small amounts of marijuana for personal use.
