Emerson, Lake & Palmer drummer Carl Palmer sent a message to fans after undergoing heart surgery in London yesterday.
Palmer posted a message on Facebook, saying, “This morning Carl had a successful ablation procedure to restore his sinus rhythm as he previously had atrial fibrillation.
“Carl would like to thank Dr Tuscher Saluke, his consulting cardiologist who performed the operation, and all the wonderful staff who looked after him today at the Sir Reginald Wilson Ward at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. appreciate.”
Palmer and his band will begin their Return of Emerson, Lake & Palmer 2023 Summer Tour in the United States in July. The tour featured live performances by Palmer and band member Paul Bieratowitz on guitar and Simon Fitzpatrick on bass, along with video footage of his late ELP bandmates Keith Emerson and Greg Lake. increase.
