Editor’s Note: Last year, Michael Borrell and Nicole Borrell began reviewing Lebanon Valley’s restaurants and dining destinations as Lebanese Valley food critics. Since then, the couple has aimed to provide unbiased reviews of the eateries Lebanon Valley has to offer. LebTown is pleased to partner with LVFC to share these reviews with our readers. Bon appetit!
Lebanese Valley food critics welcome you to the first season of the highly anticipated Lebanese Valley Burger Wars. His four entrants from the Valley will compete and be declared the winner of the Valley’s Best Burger.
Our judgment is based on several factors, including burger presentation and composition, clutter, and overall impression. Cook all burgers at the same temperature, medium heat.
Continue through the northern part of the Lebanon Valley. Originally known as Local Food His Truck, he has opened a new restaurant, Witchway Sandwich, in the small village of Bunker Hill.

The restaurant serves a simple menu of burger options to suit the weekday lunch and weekend dinner crowds. They feature locally sourced beef in patties from nearby farms.
Our verdict tonight was the Bacon Cheeseburger ($10) with lettuce, tomato and onion. This burger is served on a toasted brioche bun and comes with your choice of cheese.
The patty was fresh and tasted like a quality burger. It’s not the biggest burger patty out there. The simplicity of the burger allowed us to savor the meat of the burger and let the topping be the topping.
As an aside, the onion rings are a bonus, although they are not included in the judgment.
How does this burger stack up against other burgers? We’ll see!
Next, travel to other participants, the Downtown Lounge and the Richland Railroad Diner. Then announce the winner.
