ACC Announces Partnership with USCAH for Medical Advice and Resources


Greensboro, North Carolina (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference has partnered with the United States Athletes Health Council (USCAH) to provide comprehensive health consultations and resources for all 15 league members.

“ACC is thrilled to partner with USCAH to provide a critical resource that will benefit the 10,000 student-athletes attending the conference,” said ACC Commissioner Dr. Jim Phillips. “The health and well-being of our student-athletes is our number one priority. Our USCAH partnership furthers our 15 institutions’ commitment to providing comprehensive services to our student-athletes.”

An ACC Medical Administrators Group, which includes medical professionals from each school, oversees the relationship with USCAH. The partnership will include cooperation on sports medicine, health and safety efforts across the conference. USCAH is working with agencies to conduct medical assessments, which will be shared at the ACC’s annual Health Safety Summit in his May.
